Toledo Commutator Company meets demanding slip ring specifications by offering a versatile range of quality slip ring leads, cores, insulation and rings, both new and rebuilt. We manufacture these products to standards or special project specifications, in molded or fabricated versions. We also manufacture alternator slip rings for the automotive market and aftermarket, both domestic and foreign.
- Rings can be manufactured from any special alloy specified by the customer, including bronze, stainless steel, copper, red brass and steel
- Rectangular and threaded leads, in either brass or copper, are available. Rectangular leads can be used in tight spaces, while threaded leads provide quick and easier connecting and disconnecting
- To reduce unit weight or meet specific OEM specs, a full complement of core materials, including steel, brass, fiber and molded are available
- Four types of insulation are available – NEMA G5 glass melamine, molding mica, epoxy bonded glass cloth and phenolic molding compound
